Territory Sales Representatives
Long Island, NY
Northern Florida

Douglas Laboratories, a worldwide leader in the nutritional supplement industry, is currently seeking experienced, dynamic and highly motivated individuals with a “whatever it takes” attitude to manage accounts in our Long Island, Northern Florida and Riverside County territories. Responsibilities would consist of managing and growing existing sales territories through contract negotiation, thorough account penetration and competitive account acquisition.

Duties include traveling throughout assigned territory for account visits and new account prospecting. Close interaction with Customer Service Department in areas of account retention, account maintenance and growth through proactive marketing services is essential.

Requirements include a minimum of 3 years of field sales experience with a minimum of a B.S./B.A. in Business or Science. The ideal candidates should have prior experience in the nutritional supplement, pharmaceutical, health care industry or have a degree in Nutrition.

Manufacturing Positions

Machine Operation - Operates a high speed encapsulation/manual/semiautomatic machine that fills pre-manufactured capsules with powder.

Bottling - Pack bottles into boxes and stack boxes on a pallet, while working with others on an assembly line.

Inspection - Manually inspects and removes any capsule or tablet with an imperfection from the conveyor belt.

10:30 pm - 7:00 am

Trumbull Facility/Greentree
7:30 am - 4:00 pm
3:30 pm - 12:00 am
11:30 pm - 8:00 am

A High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary in order to apply. HVL, Inc is a Drug Free Workplace and all potential candidates must pass a drug screen before employment begins.
